Modern Dream Catcher
You may find that I have plenty of crafts that I use to fill
up wall space. I haven't purposely done so, but it just works out so well!
Maybe it's a mini forte of mine in the craft world.
This modern dream catcher was so fun and simple and hardly
mandates a play by play, so I just took some more inspiration from someone
else, and just dove in.
Materials:
·
12" Gold Macramé Ring
·
White Yarn
·
Wood beads
Methods:
1. Tie one string on top, then line down to where you want
to knot it on the bottom of the hoop.
2. Leave ample string hanging from the bottom to be trimmed
later on.
3. Repeat until you have as many strings you want to fill
the ring up with. I did 12 -13.
4. Move the strings around so they are evenly spaced, and
you can tie them tighter once in position.
5. Add beads, as many as you want!
6. Add string on top of hoop to hang it by.
Since it is a dream catcher, it's only fitting that I place
it above my bed to catch our dreams. This location works great since we have no
head board and extra empty wall space. Making this dream catcher was fun to
complete with my hubby, and made for a great family activity.
Enjoy!
