Spring Boxwood Wreath

I realized that with the warm weather this Spring came the increased growth on the shrubs at my house, especially the boxwoods. I went out one day to prune the irregularly long stems off for this project... and now the shrubs look groomed!

I took the exact same wreath frame that I used for my Christmas wreath and covered it in boxwood stems. I attached and pinned the branches with floral tape and floral wire.

Getting enough coverage with the stems is hard, and never quite looks full enough, but with time, patience, and extra pinning of branches into where they are supposed to go, it can look great!

I made the burlap bow from part of a tutorial on Pinterest, and it turned out  pretty well for how easy it was to make. BOW TUTORIAL
