Passport Cover
I'm going to Mexico with the Husband at the end of the month
and I decided to manifest my excitement, for finally needing to get a passport, with making a leather passport cover!!!
I ordered the leather online (Amazon) , bought some super cheap
embroidery floss (Michales), and enlisted a friend who had a tool to help me punch holes
in the leather.
After cutting the leather from a template from an existing
passport holder a family member had, we used an awl to penetrate the leather so
we could hand sew the pieces together. It took a little bit of practice before
I got the look I wanted, but by the end, I loved this craft.
If anyone out there wants one, I'll gladly make another....
you just need to commission my art. THANKS!
